Austin Runner's Club

When: Mondays at 6:30 pm
Where: Meet at Ready to Run
What: FREE group run with various paces, distance is between 3-6 miles.

Description: The Monday Night Run meets at Ready to Run on Mondays at 6:30pm. The group runs different routes in the Far West and Shoal Creek neighborhoods. For every route, there is both a short option (3-4 miles) and a long option (5-6 miles). There is a wide range of paces from beginners to experienced runners and a water stop is provided on all routes. Route maps will be sent out ahead of time each week to those on the group email list.

The Austin Runners Meetup is a free running group for runners of all levels. Our group is fun, friendly, and positive. We organize a series of runs throughout the week for you to enjoy and have a monthly gathering at different venues around Austin.

Trail Roots

Trail Rootswas created by Erik Stanley to support the growing Austin trail-running community. Trail Rootsemerged to provide focused and customized training for all levels of runners in Austin in a guided and safe environment.

Provided for beginner runners are marked and supervised trail runs and running workouts each week in a group setting. For the intermediate or competitive runner, in addition to the organized group runs, Erik also works one-on-one with runners to create a custom schedule tailored to personal goals and individual needs. Direct feedback is also provided during workouts.

ATX Runner is a 501(c3) non-profit organization operating under the auspices of the Road Runners Club of America. Our focus can be summarized in one sentence: We like to run! WE WALK THIS CITY is an Austin, TX training program for WALKERS only, to train for 5K’s, the Cap 10K, Half and Full Marathons and any other organized walking/running event that peaks your interest and to just stay fit.

Austin Fit

Austin FIT is a half marathon and marathon training program for walkers and runners of all ability levels, from first-timers to experienced athletes. Our members enjoy a fun, non-intimidating, and safe training experience that focuses on getting to the start line physically and mentally prepared. Certified coaches support a variety of pace groups, so no participant is left behind.

Austin Front Runner's

Austin Front Runners is a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender running group open to all fitness levels from walkers to experienced marathoners.

The focus of the club is to bring LGBTQ runners together to support one another and network within our community. We have a great camaraderie and welcome all to the group. We also participate in local running events and may pick one race a month to focus our training. Other than that there is very little competition in the group; we mostly offer one another friendly support.

Members of the Austin Front Runners compete in races all over the country. We welcome you to join us for a run around Lady Bird Lake if you are new to Austin, if you’ve lived here for years, or if you are passing through for a few days.

Team In Training

In exchange for training and support, you help raise money towards cures for blood cancers like leukemia — the No. 1 disease killer of children — lymphoma and myeloma.

How serious is blood cancer? Every five minutes, someone in the United States learns that he or she has leukemia, Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma. Every ten minutes, someone dies of a blood cancer.

Our athletes have walked away with new friends, amazing accomplishments and the sense that they did something even more important than getting in good shape.

The Austin Galloway training program is committed to providing a safe, friendly, challenging and motivating experience to our member runners as they train for their races whether the are a 5K, 10K, half or full marathons. We will accomplish this with a structured program featuring run/walk breaks, gradual mileage increases and runner education within a team environment.
